Master’s degree in travel and tourism management is a two-year full-time course intended to deliver insights into the tourism industry along with other hospitality sectors such as accommodation and airline services.

Eligibility

: Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university.

Eligibility for the Master of Tourism and Travel Management 

Students must meet the eligibility requirements to be admitted to the Master of Tourism and Travel Management programme. Different institutes and universities may have different eligibility requirements. However, the basic eligibility criteria for admission to the Master of Tourism and Travel Management programme are listed below.  

  • To be eligible for admission to master’s in tourism management, applicants must have completed a Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (B.T.T.M.) or Bachelor of Hotel Management (B.H.M.) or B.A. in Tourism or BSc in Hospitality and Administration (BHA).  
  • To be considered for admission to the Master of Tourism and Travel Management programme, general category students must score at least 50% on the qualifying exam.  
  • On the other hand, students from the ST/SC category can gain admission to the Master of Tourism and Travel Management programme with a minimum of 45% in the qualifying exam.   
  • Students with a tourism diploma and a bachelor’s degree can apply for admission to the Master of Tourism and Travel Management programme. However, during the programme, those students must pass four additional subjects.
